Before a child joins

Ace Debate is intended for ages 8 and above. We require a parent or legal guardian for every student under 18. An adult account does not grant child access. Do not enter your child’s name, email, date of birth, or recordings in your own account setup.

Email verification is only the first step

An email code confirms that someone can access an inbox. A social sign-in confirms an identity with that provider. Neither alone proves that someone is an adult or a child’s legal guardian. Acknowledging this notice records your understanding; it does not create a child account or complete verifiable parental consent.

Requirements for student participation

We will provide a specific notice of the child information required, how it will be used, which service providers will receive it, how long it will be retained, and how to review, withdraw consent, and request deletion. Parent verification and consent must be completed before we collect child profile information or recordings. Requirements may differ by country; this common age gate is not a claim of approval in every jurisdiction.

Your choices

No payment is required to set up an adult account. No debates, microphone recording, public student profiles, or child leaderboards are active. You can log out at any time and request account deletion by emailing us from the address used for the account. Read the Privacy Notice for current data handling.
